Overview

Developing tools at the interface of neuroscience and AI. Visualising brain data typically requires specialised software. We're building tools that make it accessible to researchers, clinicians, and anyone with a BCI device.

Everything here is in active development, functional but evolving.

Brain Data Visualisation

Interactive 3D tools for exploring neural data. Takes brain data like EEG recordings, fMRI scans, or synthetic neural network activity and renders it as interactive 3D visualisations. Rotate, zoom, play back activity over time, and toggle layers.

fMRI Brought to Life

Takes real fMRI data and drives a spatially-mapped spiking neural network with it. Brain activity data modelled as dynamic neural activation, not just a static heatmap.

Spatiotemporal Activation

Visualises spiking neural network activity across space and time. Works for any spatially-embedded neural network, biological or artificial.

Anatomical Localisation

Identifies which brain areas are activated. Based on MNI coordinates using the CerebrA Atlas.

EEG Visualiser

Upload and visualise EEG data in real-time 3D.

Supported data

  • Up to 65 EEG channels

  • 10-10 electrode system

  • Channels mapped to MNI coordinates

  • CSV format input

How to use it

  1. Upload EEG data — CSV file. Rows are timepoints, columns are channels. Numeric values only.

  2. Upload channel labels — separate CSV. Single column, all caps, one channel per row (e.g. FP1, CZ, O2).

  3. Set sampling frequency — in Hz. Default is 500.

  4. Playback — play/pause, scrub timeline, adjust speed.

  5. Toggle visualisation — show/hide positive activity, negative activity, and connectivity lines.

The EEG data is spike-encoded and rendered as glowing particles at spatially-accurate electrode positions. Connectivity lines show co-activation between channels.

Brain-Computer Interface Software

Real-time cognitive state streaming and detection using the Neurosity Crown. Connects via the Neurosity API, streams live EEG data, and displays calm and focus metrics.

Requirements

  • Neurosity Crown device

  • Neurosity account credentials
